From Discipline to Connection: Endrit Hyseni’s ZenVen Experience

Author: Endrit Hyseni
At ZenVen, every desk has a story and every member brings a different reason for stepping into a shared workspace. For QA Engineer Endrit Hyseni, that reason was rooted in something many remote professionals quietly struggle with: structure, focus, and the need to separate “home” from “work.”
We sat down with Endrit to learn how ZenVen has shaped his routine, mindset, and sense of community.
What brought you to ZenVen, and how has it impacted your daily work or creativity?
For Endrit, the shift to remote work came with unexpected challenges.
“There are a lot of challenges that remote workers face on their day-to-day. Sometimes, it’s hard to just sit down and do the job. Sometimes, it’s hard to keep a disciplined approach to work, because mentally you are at your resting place, and environment plays a huge role in the ability to focus.”
What he was missing wasn’t just a desk-it was rhythm, accountability, and human presence.
“The need to go out of the house in the morning and treat my remote job as a real job, the need to get out there and meet new people, and the need for more structure and discipline is what brought me to ZenVen.”
That shift happened quickly.
“Just a few days after joining, I noticed it was easier for me to work longer hours and to take effective breaks and socialize. You can just grab a coffee and it’s highly likely that you’ll get to know other members and have very interesting conversations with them too.”
For Endrit, productivity didn’t come from isolation it came from being around others who were also building, thinking, and working.
Can you share a favorite moment or connection you’ve made while working here?
Sometimes, the most meaningful moments aren’t planned they’re simply felt.
“After a few months where I was unable to attend, when I came back it was a huge surprise to notice that the friends and colleagues working there were trying to make arrangements so that I get my ‘old’ table back.”
While the gesture itself might seem small, its meaning wasn’t.
“Of course, the table was completely not important for me really, but the way I was treated on this occasion, it was very heartfelt and considerate. Like when you’re late, and someone saves a plate for you.”
It’s these everyday acts of care that quietly shape a workspace into a community.
If you had to describe ZenVen in three words or a short sentence, what would it be and why?
Endrit’s answer was simple, but telling:
“ZenVen is a place where you can just grab a chair and get things done. Everything else will take care of itself eventually.”
Closing Thoughts
For Endrit Hyseni, ZenVen isn’t just a place to work it’s a structure that supports discipline, a space that encourages connection, and a community that remembers the small things.
And sometimes, that combination is exactly what turns remote work into something more sustainable, and far more human.
