A Day in My Life as a Med Student

Author: Laureta Kosumi, Med Student
Every day as a med student is a mix of intensity, adrenaline, and a whole lot of learning on the go.
My mornings usually start inside the hospital, scrubs on, hands steady, heart focused. Whether it’s assisting during practice rounds, observing procedures, or stitching for the first time, these early hours are all about applying theory to real life. It’s where the pressure is high, but the passion runs even deeper.
After that comes the second shift of the day – studying. But I’ve learned that going straight home doesn’t work for me. I need a space where I can slow down without losing momentum.
That’s why I head to ZenVen.
It’s where I reset, refuel, and dive into focused study. I grab a coffee, put on my headphones, open up my iPad, and get to work. Whether I’m reviewing pathology slides or preparing for my next exam, being surrounded by calm energy and focused people makes all the difference.
“From surgery to study sessions, this is what a med student’s hustle looks like.”
There’s something about transitioning from a high-pressure clinical setting to a quiet, inspiring space like ZenVen that helps me stay balanced. It’s not just a coworking space—it’s my daily switch from chaos to clarity.
