Working with Your Actual Friends: Arben’s ZenVen Story

We asked some of our members to reflect on what brought them to ZenVen and what keeps them coming back. Here’s what Arben, one of our favorite humans and a dedicated product owner, shared with us:

What brought you to ZenVen, and how has it impacted your daily work or creativity?

I missed being around people while working remotely. I wanted a place where I could connect and build real relationships in person. The proper setup and great office environment help me stay focused and get work done. Seeing some of my close friends every day is a big bonus, and even short breaks feel like real breaks when there’s no need to talk about work.

Can you share a favorite moment or connection you’ve made while working here?

I’ve made a lot of great friends and connections here. In my experience, strong friendships come from shared values and experiences,  that bond is hard to beat. At ZenVen, you’re sure to meet people who might become close friends or even business partners. From the people I’ve met here, I’ve worked on side projects with some of them, and we’ve even traveled together.

If you had to describe ZenVen in three words or a short sentence, what would it be and why?

Working with your actual friends.

This is what we love most about ZenVen: real people, real connections, no fluff.
